The Madbury Club

something that has been advertised on many different blogs that i read on the daily basis such as The Award Tour, Street Etiquette, etc.

At first I did not understand what it was because of the way it was kept a big secret

i was like "The Madbury Club...whats that a band or something?" lol

on June 14th the website was released to the public to enjoy

over the last few days I have really been all over the blog, reading the articles and spreads from topics such as Music/Entertainment to Product Reviews by the various members of the Club

this blog/online magazine is something that will definitely blow up in months to come primarily because the writers are all very interesting individuals themselves that built their rep's through different social networks, forums, streetwear to upscale fashion heads all over the globe.

The Madbury Club will one day become just as big as Hypebeast, SlamXHype and Street Etiquette.

6.13.10 [THE ALCHEMIST]

over the last hour or so i've been on a trip down memory lane.

this man in the Polaroid above is The Alchemist, a producer/rapper hailing from Beverly Hills, CA.

he's not a household name such as J-Dilla, Kanye West or Primo but he is easily capable of being seen as an elite producer in the history of hip-hop production.

i decided to dedicate this post to him while i was watching Drake's Tim Westwood Freestyle which was pretty hard to watch... but anyways while scrolling through the comments many users posted to watch "Eminem's Westwood Freestyle"

and when I did, The Alchemist just happened to be the guest DJ

i could hardly pay attention what Em was bc of old ALC songs running through my head

i could remember back in about 04-05 when he dropped the album 1st Infantry when i copped it from a random bootlegger off the streets of NY and playing the CD on the busride back home and wondering how this guy hasn't really blew up yet.

Hold You Down and D-Block to QB were my favorite tracks from the album and i would play them on my lil RCA mp3 player

wow what memories

my point of this post was to just share with you one of my all-time favorite songs and hopefully make someone another Alchemist fan

for the whole week i've been saying "man im going to skate" but due to the ongoing process of getting KILLA2.0 legalized (how ironic), my excursion has been put on the backburner.

until yesterday lol

i skated flatgroundspot just like oldtimes

6.2.10 [GOODMUSIC]

today has been a good day for me music-wise

even though i'm about two months late about this, today while randomly scrolling through

Theo Martins blog I saw a the artwork for his newest project "You Can't Do That On Television" and decided to give it a listen. From the minute I heard Theo's signature adlib "ookayy", i knew this project was something serious. By listening to simply the first song, I could hear his progression as an artist and I can easily say that he is moving in the right direction, no doubt. This tape has a very relaxing feel and I look forward to poppin' this in while cruising in the whip.
